Eva Kovacs-Kovezsdi - Thriving on change and viewing challenges as opportunities
Deeply inspired by new technologies and AI.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as with our playful poodle puppy and curious cat. I am a proud mom to two wonderful daughters, aged 14 and 18, and they definitely keep me busy with their activities and interests. I love going on long walks and excursions to explore new places—whether it is a nature trail or a new part of town, I find it refreshing and peaceful. If I have some free time, I also enjoy crocheting, though it is more of a relaxing hobby I pick up when I can. These activities help me stay grounded and find a nice balance between family, nature, and creativity.
My husband is a constant source of support and encouragement, always pushing me to be my best. He believes in me, even when I doubt myself, and that confidence really helps me grow. I am also inspired by my leaders and colleagues who show courage in taking on challenges and risks. Their bravery to try something new motivates me to step outside of my comfort zone and embrace change. I thrive on change and view every challenge as an opportunity to learn and evolve. I am also deeply inspired by new technologies and AI—they show me that growth has no limits, and the possibilities are endless. It is exciting (and a little bit scary) to think about the future, especially with AI, and how it will shape our personal and professional lives.
My career journey
Over the past two decades, I have developed a strong expertise in workplace, facility, and project management within multinational environments. I had the privilege of leading complex, cross-functional projects, including facilitating seamless office relocations for renowned companies like BAT and Roche. My approach is highly results-driven, with a focus on creative problem-solving, customer-centric strategies, clear communication, and a growth mindset that embraces challenges and opportunities.
I joined Roche in 2019 and worked with the Hungarian affiliate for five years, leading various strategic initiatives. In May 2024, I transitioned to my current role as Head of Site Services at RSS EMEA, where I oversee the management of an 11,000 sqm office space. I lead a team of 25 colleagues, supporting and ensuring a productive work environment for over 2,400 employees. My role focuses on optimizing workplace services, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering an environment that drives collaboration and success.
What resonates most with me at Roche is the company’s strong sense of purpose — working towards a better future for our patients. It is truly inspiring to see and hear the stories of how our medicines have made a difference in people’s lives. Another aspect that stands out to me is the incredible diversity at Roche. I admire how people from so many different nationalities work together at RSS, united by a shared goal. There is a genuine culture of respect and support, where colleagues celebrate each other’s successes and help one another grow.
I really love being part of the Site Services team. Our team consists of great professionals and wonderful people who truly support one another. I particularly enjoy our daily morning huddle meetings—they are not only efficient but also filled with humor, which makes the start of the day enjoyable. Most importantly, I deeply appreciate the trust and respect I feel from my colleagues—it motivates and inspires me every day. One of my sweetest memories is our first Site Services Day, closely followed by our team-building event. Those were great times where I not only enjoyed myself but also learned a lot.
I see challenges as opportunities. I have always believed that when a door closes, a window opens, and I enjoy exploring those new possibilities. I love taking risks, embracing challenges, and finding creative ways to solve problems. Each obstacle is a chance to grow, learn, and discover innovative solutions, which keeps me motivated and driven.

My RSS high-5s!
If I could high-five anyone in the organization, it wouldn’t just be one person—it would be several. Each of them has played a significant role in my journey, offering trust, support, and encouragement along the way. I am truly grateful for their impact and the opportunity to grow and contribute to our shared success: Raffaella Bondi, Martin Kikstein and Marton Sulyok.
