Fruzsina Toth – Growing through passion, people, and possibility

Inspired by leaders who create a clear vision and walk alongside their teams.

Portrait of Fruzsina Toth

During my free time, you will often find me in the kitchen, apron on, trying out new recipes—usually for the people I love most. Baking is one of my favorite ways to unwind. When I am not baking, I am usually in the garden, nurturing flowers or tending to vegetables and herbs I have grown myself. Nature has a way of grounding me, reminding me that with care and patience, growth always follows.

Another personal passion of mine is skincare. I love learning about different products and routines. It is a small daily ritual that helps me slow down, reflect, and invest in my own well-being.

Professionally, I am inspired by leaders who create a clear vision and walk alongside their teams with honesty and accessibility through both the highs and lows. That kind of leadership is uplifting. It brings out the best in me because it is rooted in trust, purpose, and the belief that people matter most.

My career journey

I hold a degree in Social Sciences and Economics, with a major in Human Resources. For the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of growing within Roche. Since 2019, I have been serving as a People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner. What keeps me here, above all, is the culture that is defined by genuine respect, support, and a spirit of collaboration that you can feel every day.

One of the highlights of my journey was traveling to Kuala Lumpur to work closely with our local P&C team, helping them shape their processes and lay the foundation for their operations. Moments like these remind me of why I do what I do. Whether it is supporting people, listening to their stories, or helping them grow, they are individuals finding their way or leaders shaping the future.

What keeps me passionate and driven is staying connected to the “why” behind my work. I find energy in our shared purpose, and strength in my team. They inspire me just as much as I hope to inspire them. Together, we create impact and this continues to motivate me every day.

My 5 career tips
Portrait of Fruzsina Toth
  1. Regularly give and receive feedback. It is like a compass for your career.

  2. Know yourself. Embrace your strengths and work on areas for improvement.

  3. Take time to self-reflect and gain insights. Ask yourself, "What did I learn from this experience?"

  4. Don't stress too much if there are times when you don't know your next move. Slow down, enjoy the ride, and stay authentic.

  5. Build relationships. Start early by reaching out to key stakeholders, joining relevant projects, and showing your capabilities, making it a no-brainer for them when a position opens up! :)
