When not at work, my world revolves around my family, especially my energetic three-year-old son who keeps me on my toes in the best possible way. Whether it is playing, learning, or exploring the world through his eyes, I cherish these moments that not only strengthen our bond but also support his development and spark his curiosity.
I also make it a priority to take care of my own well-being. It helps me reset, refocus, and bring my best self to both my personal and professional roles. Finding time for fitness amidst a busy schedule isn’t always easy, but it is essential to staying balanced and energized.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have leaders who have led and inspired me. Their guidance and mentorship have had a profound impact on my growth. Their belief in me has empowered me to pursue new challenges with confidence, and that encouragement has helped shape the person and professional I have become.
My career journey
My journey at Roche began in 2012. I have held several roles starting as an Accounts Payable Accountant and later, as a Services Quality Assurance Coordinator. These gave me a broad perspective on how the business operates. These early experiences taught me invaluable skills in stakeholder and project management and helped me build the foundations for what came next.
In 2017, I transitioned into the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) space, where I truly found my purpose. Since 2020, I have proudly served as the SHE Officer for our RSS EMEA site, leading a dedicated and passionate SHE team within the Site Services group.
What makes this work so meaningful to me is the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that directly impact the well-being of our colleagues. Every project, every improvement, every safety measure we put in place reflects our commitment to people. I am deeply motivated by this sense of purpose, and I am proud to be part of a culture that values respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The strength of our SHE team lies in our unity. When challenges arise as they always do, we face them together. Our ability to solve problems collectively, support each other, and move forward as one team is something I truly cherish. It is also incredibly rewarding to witness my colleagues grow by stepping into new roles, and taking on new responsibilities. Their success is energizing, and I consider it a privilege to support and celebrate their development.
For me, staying passionate and driven comes from embracing challenges and constantly seeking opportunities to learn. I have always understood that the road to growth isn’t easy but I have learnt to value the journey just as much as the destination. With self-motivation, resilience, and a strong support system, I have grown through each experience—and I look forward to the ones still ahead.
