I have always enjoyed the spine-chilling embrace of horror books and movies. There is something about feeling the rush of fear, diving headfirst into the unknown.
This drives me to devour at least eight books a month, almost always of the chilling genre. My love for adrenaline propels me physically as well. I have conquered the asphalt of New York and the cobblestones of Berlin, pounding the route as I raced through two marathons. This year, I am gearing up for my third, in the vibrant streets of Valencia.
My father and husband provide unwavering support and boundless inspiration. They are there believing in me, lifting me up, and cheering me on.
Ten months ago, I embarked on a new adventure, stepping into the role of IT Global Customer Experience (GCX) Team Leader at RSS Americas. I have honed my skills in people management, empathy, coaching, and leadership, navigating through the complexities of each day with grace and resilience. Beyond the technicalities, what truly fuels my passion for this role is the profound sense of purpose that underpins our work at GCX. There is genuine care for the well-being of every employee, and the belief in the power of diversity and inclusion.
I love the people I work with, especially those who take time to teach me new things. In our community, learning is a constant and each interaction is an opportunity to grow and evolve. My team, entrusted with providing first-level technical support for our colleagues in North America, embodies the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie that defines GCX.
For me, success is about finding fulfillment in every aspect of life including balancing career and personal growth, as well as ambition and contentment. With their love and support, my family is my driving force throughout my journey.
The path to success is often riddled with obstacles and setbacks. Yet, in every fall, there lies an opportunity for growth, for resilience, for rising stronger than before. I have learnt over time to cultivate a positive mindset and draw strength from adversity.
I am reminded of one such journey within my team. Through coaching and mentorship, I had the privilege of guiding a disheartened agent towards a path of self-discovery and empowerment. This month, that agent was one of the top performers in my team.
If there is one piece of wisdom I could impart, it is to be proactive, forward-thinking, and passionate about teamwork. The collective effort makes the work easier for both teams and supervisors. Always think about the future and look for data to make the best decisions.
