Beyond fitness, I cherish spending time with my family and close friends. Whether we are exploring new places, embarking on outdoor adventures, or simply sharing deep and meaningful conversations, these moments bring me a profound sense of fulfillment. Connection with loved ones keeps me grounded and reminds me of what truly matters.

Throughout my journey, I have been fortunate to have mentors who have guided and encouraged me in my personal and professional growth. However, my greatest inspiration has always been my father. He instilled in me the values of perseverance, the pursuit of success, and the importance of continuous learning—not as an obligation, but as a passion-driven endeavor. His mindset has shaped my approach to life, inspiring me to seek out opportunities for growth and to remain curious in my quest for knowledge.

My career journey

With a background in business administration, I am currently pursuing a master’s degree to further deepen my expertise. Over the years, I have also earned certifications in medical device quality management and finance, enhancing my skill set in both fields. My career journey has taken me from financial analysis and investment portfolio monitoring to my current role as a Governmental Programs Analyst, which I have been in for the past five months.

In this position, I am part of the Medicaid rebate team, a program essential in reducing healthcare costs and ensuring affordable access to medication for vulnerable populations across the United States. My role involves ensuring the accuracy of rebate processing, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and resolving challenges that arise along the way. It is both a responsibility and an opportunity to contribute to a system that makes a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

One of the most significant aspects of my career so far has been the culture of Roche. I have had the privilege of working alongside individuals who embody strong values and demonstrate a genuine eagerness to share their knowledge. Being in an environment where people are deeply invested in both intellectual and professional growth has been incredibly rewarding. My team is always willing to support, answer questions, and provide guidance, fostering a sense of belonging and continuous learning.

What I admire most is how open-minded my colleagues are to new perspectives. Their willingness to embrace fresh ideas and encourage innovation makes this an inspiring place to work. It excites me to be part of a company that truly values its people and fosters a culture of collaboration and development.

Being part of the Incubator team has been an especially exhilarating experience. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional individuals on groundbreaking initiatives, working on projects that are still in their early stages of development. This dynamic environment challenges me to think creatively, adapt quickly, and push beyond my comfort zone. One of the most rewarding experiences has been playing a role in expanding a team in Costa Rica. Introducing new members to a broader global initiative and witnessing their curiosity and enthusiasm has been incredibly fulfilling. Seeing others take an interest in the work we do reinforces my passion and commitment to making a meaningful impact.

What keeps me driven is maintaining a clear vision of my goals and staying connected to the reasons behind my efforts. When faced with challenges, I rely on a positive mindset and surround myself with supportive individuals who share similar aspirations and values. Continuous learning and self-improvement are also central to my motivation. By staying curious, proactive, and open to acquiring new knowledge, I find fresh inspiration to persevere and evolve.

Each day presents new opportunities to grow, contribute, and make a difference. By staying true to my values, embracing challenges, and nurturing meaningful connections, I strive to bring my best self to everything I do—both personally and professionally.

My high-5 goes to my manager, Philipp. He has great enthusiasm for sharing new ideas and consistently goes beyond supporting our team. Any time I ask a question, he not only provides a thorough answer but also takes the time to explain its relevance by sharing stories and offering valuable context that is very inspiring. He has the ability to motivate the team and his dedication and drive have left a lasting impression on me and many others.
