Peter Grausz – Stepping back to focus on the bigger picture

The people I surround myself with play a huge role in who I am. My parents, brother, partner, friends, and colleagues all inspire me in unique ways. I truly believe there is something to admire in everyone, and it is important to stay open-minded, looking for the good in others’ actions. That perspective has shaped how I approach life and work.

My career journey

My career has always revolved around project management, sales, and information technology—fields that taught me the value of efficiency and precision early on. My first four years in the logistics industry transformed how I view time. Every minute or hour added to a process could mean a loss in profit, and that realization instilled in me a relentless drive for optimization.

Afterward, I transitioned into Agile Product Ownership, a role that deepened my understanding of vision, decision-making, and responsibility. Those four years working with diverse products and companies taught me to embrace differences, make tough calls, and stand by their consequences.

Today, I am proud to serve as a Commercial Support Expert, supporting Roche Diagnostics with the Tendering and Request for Proposal (T-Rex) processes. The solution is already up and running in eight regions, and my role is to bring analytical, algorithmic, and project management expertise to the table while staying laser-focused on the product’s vision. I work closely with affiliates to ensure that this tool adapts seamlessly to regional needs and enhances efficiency.

What stands out most to me about working here is the company’s culture. There is a genuine dedication to building a community—a shared space where values are at the forefront and everyone is encouraged to grow both professionally and personally. From the first welcoming faces, I saw to the colleagues I meet every day, the people here make me excited to show up.

It is in the little moments: the laughter during team meetings, shared lunches, a casual coffee break, or even a quick game of foosball. These interactions remind me that this is not just a workplace—it is a community of people who uplift each other. Whenever I need to recharge, I know I will find a partner who shares that same positive energy and mindset.

When challenges arise, and they inevitably do, I rely on two things: stepping back and focusing on the bigger picture. I remind myself of the vision I am contributing to. For the seemingly insurmountable obstacles, I break them down into smaller, actionable steps. Piece by piece, I move forward. This mindset keeps me grounded and passionate. Every task I complete, every challenge I overcome, is part of a larger story—a story of growth, connection, and purpose. That is what inspires me to keep going and what makes this journey so fulfilling.
